Admission Requirements
To apply to an on-campus graduate program:
- Complete the free application.
- Submit your official transcripts.
- Review program-specific application requirements.
- If applying for a dual degree, you must submit a separate application and materials for both programs.

Minimum Academic Credentials
To be eligible for a graduate program, applicants must have a bachelor's degree or international equivalent from a regularly accredited institution. Applicants enrolled in the final year of a bachelor's degree or international equivalent can be considered for provisional admissions at the department's discretion.

LIM Certificate applicants must submit the following:
- Minimum 2.5 undergraduate cumulative GPA.
- Current resume, including relevant work experience.
- Statement of Purpose (600-1200 words, double-spaced) addressing the questions:
- What has led you to pursue your studies, and how do you think it can help you grow in a current or future ministry? Or, for those who do not consider themselves to be in ministry, how do you think it can help you explore faith and its implications for the Church and world today?
- You may include anything about yourself that you believe would assist us in evaluating your work, academic and ministerial background, as well as aid in assessing your ability to engage in a graduate-level ministry program.
- Two recommendations from professional references.
- References should be individuals who have observed you in a work, ministerial, or educational setting.
Certificate students seeking graduate credit: If you are seeking a certificate for graduate credit, you are required to submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended, and proof for bachelor's degree awarded.

Applicants need to meet academic requirements for each of the three partner schools to be able to gain admission and earn each degree. Please note there are special requirements for applying at LMU. All undergraduate degrees must be verified by ANABIN before enrollment.
Global MBA applicants must submit the follow:
- $50 application fee (waived).
- Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
- Copy of their bachelor's degree diploma.
- Official GMAT or GRE scores (optional)
- Current resume, including relevant work experience.
- Statement of Purpose (400 words) address the following questions:
- Why do you want to pursue a Global MBA - Triple Master degree?
- How do you think the triple master degree program will enhance your academic/professional background?
- What makes you an ideal candidate?
- Online Interview (to be scheduled with the department).
- 2 letters of recommendation from professional references.
The College of Business may request admission interviews from any applicant to any graduate business program.

The Global MBA program admits students every fall semester. Our cohort model allows students to star with and graduate with their same classmates, enhancing networking and camaraderie amongst students.
International Applicants:
- Must also submit an affidavit of support showing sufficient funds to finance their course of student and living expenses: Global MBA - Affidavit of Support Form.
- Official TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo score reports must be sent with passing scores. More details on this requirement can be found here.

MAT applicants must submit the following:

- Why do you want to pursue the MAT at Loyola?
- What skills and experience do you possess that reflect your passion for teaching?

MBA applicants must submit the following:

- How do you think a Masters in Music Therapy will enhance your academic/professional career?
- What do you hope to gain by being part of Loyola's graduate program?
- What will you bring to the Masters of Music Therapy program?
- Two letters of recommendation from professional references.
- Complete a successful audition - applicants should submit video recordings of themselves performing (1-2 pieces/songs) on their primary instrument/voice – classical or jazz styles, or singing and self-accompanying (1-2 songs) on both guitar and piano – a popular tune, jazz standard, folk song, etc.
**Proficiency with singing and self-accompanying on guitar and piano is not required for admission. However, if the applicant is unable to demonstrate proficiency in their video audition, they may be required to take remedial courses in guitar/piano.
MMT Equivalency applicants must submit the following:
- Undergraduate music degree, or a closely related field with a music minor.
- Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
- Current resume, including relevant work experience.
- Statement of Purpose (400 words or less) addressing the questions:
- How do you think a Masters in Music Therapy will enhance your academic/professional career?

MSC applicants must submit the following:
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative undergraduate GPA in the last 60 hours of coursework (Applicants below this requirement may be considered for conditional admission).
- Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
- Official GMAT or GRE scores.
- Applicants with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher or who already have a graduate degree are not required to take the GRE exam.
- Applicants with a 2.9 or below must take the GRE exam. We recommend a combination score of 300 or above (applicants scoring lower may be considered for conditional admission).
- Current resume, including relevant work experience.
- Statement of Purpose (1-3 pages) addressing:
- your educational goals;
- and reasons for wishing to pursue a degree in Counseling from Loyola.
- Three letters of recommendation from professional references.
Qualified applicants will be contacted once all application materials have been reviewed to schedule:
- An in-person writing sample; and
- An in-person individual and group interview (virtual interviews are reserved for international applicants only).
Fall Application Deadlines

Pre-CPA PB Certificate applicants must submit the following:
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited U.S institution.
- Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
- Current resume, including relevant work experience.
Pre Health PB Certificate applicants must submit the following:
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited U.S. institution.
- Minimum 2.75 undergraduate cumulative GPA (most competitive applicants have an average GPA of 3.0 or higher, but applicants meeting the minimum will be thoroughly reviewed).
- Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
- Current resume, including relevant work experience (1-2 pages).
- Healthcare experience is recommended, but not required for admission.
- Statement of Purpose (400 words) addressing the questions:
- Tell us about yourself, including your pre-health goals.
- How will this program help you further your pre-health goals?
- Discuss any relevant meaningful experiences, particularly experience in the healthcare field.
- One letter of recommendation from a professional reference.
- The letter should be from a former or current professor whose class you have complete, or a professional who served in a supervisory capacity for you and can attest to your work ethic and promise in the medical field.

*Because admissions occurs on a rolling basis, admissions may close prior to the posted final deadline dates due to the size of the incoming class. We encourage you to apply early. Applications submitted for the desired entry term by the priority deadline offers applicants the broadest range of course enrollment options. Those who wait to the final deadlines face limited course availability.
If the above deadlines fall on a weekend, the application must be received by the next Monday of business. Applications will of course be accepted in advance of deadline dates.

- Grades of C or better in music undergraduate coursework.

- Personal Statement (one page) addressing the questions:
- Why do you want to pursue the Music ED PB Certification at Loyola?
- What are your professional goals for completing the program?
- Official ACT or SAT exam scores.
- Official passing PRAXIS I exam and PRAXIS II (music content area) exam scores.
Official Transcripts
Applicants must submit official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities. Application decisions can be made based on unofficial transcripts; however, official transcripts are required before acceptance is official.
